Our investment in training and development help OSL employees excel in their roles. Requirements for skills and training are developed and monitored through quarterly one2one meetings with line managers and are open to all staff.
All in-house and external training is developed around the priorities of the business, specific projects and are designed to help grow each team member.
For employees looking to progress their careers we work with each individual to navigate the most beneficial and logical pathway.
Our leadership and emerging leader training is helping to develop the next generation of senior leadership for the business. We enjoy a strong working relationship with the Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Chemical Engineers, of which we’re approved trainers.
Safety and competence training for all our employees is a standard at OSL, along with opportunities for gaining further academic qualifications. Our other teams are supported to get their own specific qualifications and accreditations; AAT for the finance team, APMP for the Sales team and APM for our delivery team.
