Steph Robinson

C&I Designer

Since joining OSL in April 2013, Steph Robinson has progressed from Trainee E&I Designer to Designer, and is celebrating 10 years with the business.

Always thoughtful in her approach to work, Steph has an inner confidence and drive which has enabled her to undertake several qualifications in Electrical Design.  One HNC project saw her tasked with looking at office lighting to reduce energy consumption. The management team were so impressed by her presentation and recommendations to fit LED lighting throughout the building she implemented and managed the whole project.

“Working at OSL gives me the flexibility to have a balanced work and personal life. They have also supported me through further education and other co-workers are always on hand to assist and guide where needed. OSL listens to ideas and is in the process of switching software to streamline and improve consistency which I have been heavily involved in,” said Steph Robinson.

“Steph is always eager to undertake additional training to further her career and support OSL. She is trained in AutoCad Plant 3D to implement smart P&IDs into the business which provides efficiencies in our delivery. Steph has also taken the time to impart her learning to other employees thinking about an engineering career, mentoring our sponsored Arkwright Students,” said Paul Foy, Lead Control & Instrumentation Engineer.
