Celebrating a Year of Individual Achievements

Celebrating a Year of Individual Achievements

This year OSL combined its Christmas meal at Lucca with an awards ceremony, during which we celebrated key achievements and promotions.

One of the evening’s awards went to Steph Robinson, who has graduated to E&I Designer from a Graduate position following a year of going above and beyond. To help Steph achieve this, OSL funded her regular day release to take further training at college.

Oly McIntosh received an award to mark his progression to Associate Mechanical Engineer. He also received a plant to look after at OSL House, which represents his new responsibilities of mentoring others and helping them to achieve their goals.

Oly was then commended again, this time alongside Ike Obi, Jonny Elvidge and Andy Munn for their building of an in-house search engine for our project portfolio. This will allow us to find relevant projects by keywords and create highly customised Project Experience documents for prospective undertakings. This really is an incredible asset for OSL, as it will be used to tailor all future projects to a very high degree.

Meanwhile, Beverley Magumise was promoted to Process Engineer from her former Associate role. Having already received a plant when moving from Graduate to Associate status, this time Beverley was given a commemorative pen. This is received by all team members when they achieve Engineer status, symbolising their newly instated power to sign off documents and approve projects.

Last but by no means least, highly skilled and longstanding Process Engineer, Daniela de Sousa Parisi (top), was congratulated on achieving IChemE Chartership. This is a significant development for both Daniela and OSL as a whole, as together we are committed to offering our customers the skills, experience and Clever Thinking that make projects run smoothly and deliver long-term results.

The Senior Management Team would like to thank everyone at OSL for their hard work over the last year. We have big news that will be shared in January, so make sure to look out for an announcement in the New Year.
