Technical Coordinator

This role will be based in our clients office in Sunderland. As a Technical Coordinator you will work closely with LNG team members to ensure the successful execution and completion of projects. You will be required to ensure the transfer equipment is ready for use at all times. You will be required to be fully familiar with NSE and ensure the system is kept updated and work with project managers.


  • Ensuring hardware is maintained and in operational condition.
  • Work within the team on the procurement and implementation aspects of NSE.
  • Support PM System and ensure it is kept up to date.
  • Procure spares and consumables as required for equipment and for the terminals as required.
  • Work with the terminal managers on the development of budgets.
  • Assist in setting up of new terminals and projects.
  • Work with projects managers on creating budgets and work plans
  • Working with Microsoft Project Professional to produce detailed project execution plans.
  • Ensuring project invoicing is complete and all costs/expenses are tracked.
  • Assisting in producing rotas and staff utilisation plans for terminal/maintenance projects.
  • Ensuring all customers and vendors are linked correctly between NSE and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Producing an approved vendor list to be included into the integrated management system.
  • Writing and ensuring quality management systems are in place and implemented.
  • Ensuring a quality register is kept and updated for all projects.

  • An engineering background is preferred with experience in implementation and management of PM/procurement systems.
